  • Shop Work - special power equipment, ironworkers.
  • Safety - blueprint reading, sheet metal drafting, multiple duct run, shop drawings, field measuring, food service sheet metal.
  • Field Installation - planning an installation job, sleeve fire walls, fire dampers, flexible connection, volume dampers, splitter, dampers, isolators under fans.
  • Safety - remedying unsafe job conditions, advanced first aid.
  • Materials - heating & air conditioning equipment, fans and fan laws, coils, sound traps, motorized dampers.
  • Blowpipe - cyclones, collectors, bag houses.
  • Architectural Sheet Metal - metal ceilings, louvers, exposed duct work.
  • Residential Heating & Air Conditioning - introduction to the typical air conditioning system.
  • Service Work - theory of refrigeration, system components, troubleshooting.
  • Plastics & Fiberglass - uses of PVC plastic, fabrication of PVC plastic, hot air welding.
  • Food Service Equipment - materials, fabricating, field installation, fishing – Supervisory Training, introduction to supervision, organizing work & solving problems.
  • Rigid Fiber Duct Board - overview, fabrication, field installation.
  • Acoustical Sheet Metal - overview field installation, duct lining, acoustic duct.
  • Testing & Balancing - (TAB) overview.
  • Welding - stick, mig, tig, & gas.
